Assessment process
1
Any woman in the world could sign up to take part in the assessment process for the Nations Cup. Entrants were provided with access to resources, e-training and newsletters.
2
Women could either organise their own training, in collaboration with our partner tracks and academies, or they could train with Formula Woman at our various track days and boot tours.
3
The qualifying assessments for the Nations Cup drivers took place across three days in the UK, Australia and America. Drivers were assessed on five key skills: fitness, sponsorship, media aptitude, karting ability and on-track race pace.
4
Following the assessment days, the top-performing drivers were required to qualify through one last on-track session. Drivers were assessed on their speed and ability to control the car, and were given a score out of 100 by an instructor.
5
The top 50 drivers were selected to represent their country in the inaugural Nations Cup.
6
Since qualifying for the Nations Cup, our drivers have continued to prepare for their international debut through training camps, online learning courses and on-track days with our partner, Radical Motorsport.
